Ahmed Salama was our guide on the Aswan leg of our tour. Ahmed is a university educated English speaking guide. He speaks very good English. Being with Ahmed was like being with an old friend who introduced us to his neighborhood. Ahmed knew Aswan very well, but he was patient, and let us take things in at our own pace. Ahmed is very knowledgeable and has great energy. Like most Egyptian guides, he is an independent contractor who works with tour agencies or can be contacted directly.
