John Gamil was our guide on our five-day Presidential Nile Cruise. When we arrived on the boat, it was quite reassurring to see departing tourists giving him big hugs and telling us that he was the best. We found out for ourselves that this was true. John Gamil is a university educated guide who speaks excellent English. Although we were with a group of nine other tourists in John's care, he was able to make each of us feel special, and answer all of our questions. He has extensive knowledge of ancient sites, and was even helpful with obtaining the best bargains in our shopping. John works on Nile Cruises and also conducts individual tours.
